質問を通じて明らかになったことは、日中首脳会談（立ち話）で、中国で拘束されているフジタの社員の釈放を菅総理は直接温家宝首相に対して要求しなかったこと。

拘束されていた４人のうち３人が釈放されてから、確かにこの件についての報道はあまりありません。しかし、残された一人がいる限り、日本の総理として毅然として中国に対して釈放を求めなければいけません。

つまり、日中会談は、通訳もいない、言うべきことも言わない、会談を実現することが目的だったと言わざるを得ません。

もちろん、会談をすることはいいことです。しかし、会談の中身と、どうやって実現したかについて、疑問が多い。

今日の朝開催された自民党の外交部会でも、昨日外務省が提出してきた資料の内容と今日の内容が違う。

部会には政務三役が出席しないのでいくら質問しても官僚は「それ以上お答えできません」の一点張りです。大臣や政務三役から「言うな」と言われているんだから仕方ない。後は国会で質問していくしかありません。

野党自民党のチェック能力が問われる臨時国会です。
